The Brand & Creative Manager at Balta Rugs is responsible for defining and executing Balta’s master-brand creative strategy. This person shapes the US brand content & marketing decisions and develops core positioning and messaging that inspires exceptional and effective creative work. This person is naturally creative, truly hands-on, results-driven and thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. Home décor is the heart and soul of Balta Rugs, and this role is a key component of bringing our vision to life.
What you’ll work on
Further develop the holistic brand & content strategy, including digital, web, social, and traditional media
Be hands-on, this job is for someone who doesn’t want to just manage others.
Develop the Brand Campaign Creative strategy, including the creative and narrative pillar strategy, and articulate in the form of a creative brief highlighting channel specific
In collaboration with management and technical teams, steer creative vision for Baltarugs.com and social
Maintain and evolve brand style guide for use throughout the company
Work with Balta photo studio team to develop and evolve image strategy
Strategize off-site photo shoots with Balta photo team and contractors
Support Balta US management and sales teams directly on strategic master brand project launches, including idea generation, creation, and execution
Work creative team develop beautiful, engaging campaigns that are optimized for customer engagement and aligned with brand & communications objectives.
Perform competitive, market & cultural research to stay abreast of the external industry and consumer trends
Develop inspiring creative briefs based on a deep knowledge of the Balta’s business, the competitive landscape, cultural environment and target consumer.
Collaborate with sales & national retail partners on POP display strategy, both branded and private label
Maintain a constant eye on visual, conceptual references to build the vision of the brand.
Manage relationships with trade magazines, trade-show on-prem marketing, and other B2B media
Develop the 360 Campaign Content and Messaging Strategy, Social Content strategy and editorial strategy for Balta brand
What you bring to Balta
2-3 years of marketing and/or brand strategy experience working in brand creative supporting retail, consumer products, or e-commerce
Strong understanding of consumer trends, and a passion for home décor
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud products such as Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, InDesign, etc.
A portfolio of on-trend design, showing the aptitude to drive a creative brand and team
Self-starter with an ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and meet changing deadlines and priorities on multiple simultaneous projects.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while still paying attention to details and executing flawlessly.
You are a clear communicator, have excellent presentation skills and the ability to verbalize ideas and concepts.
