Balta Rugs, one of the largest producers of area rugs in the world, is seeking a talented up-and-comer to join our sales team in a collaborative role managing our area rug showroom and guest service activities. This role is an integral part of our strategy, and will present multiple opportunities to learn and grow. Based within our Atlanta design & marketing studio, our showroom will be expanding and opening daily to the trade starting this spring!
The role as we see it today
Manage Atlanta trade showroom sales and day-to-day
Interact with guests and drive trade traffic to showroom
Coordinate sales samples & shipments for dealers
Support sales events and activities, including semi-annual out of state trade shows
Coordinate digital presentations to major national retailers
Coordinate sample sales & other trade events in our showroom
Manage consumer questions on various retailer platforms
Interact with guests on social media platforms in collaboration with marketing manager
Interact with guests on baltarugs.com - email & chat
Act as backup for traditional customer service order management as needed
Collaborate with marketing team on product content creation
Partner with sales and customer service colleagues to
Opportunities to help develop retail training initiatives and activities
Multiple paths and opportunities for growth within the sales and customer service organizations
Profile
Has passion for interior design, and an ambition to be part of the home décor industry
Digital native, with a knack for social media
Sales personality, with experience in fashion or decor retail or trade showroom sales
Experience acting as a team lead or key holder in retail setting is ideal
Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
Experience coordinating activities like events and tradeshows is nice to have
Willingness to get his/her hands dirty, and ensure our digital and in-person guests are taken care of
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred
