Textile Designer Intern - Rugs

Are you a soon to be or recent graduate with a flair for textiles and a passion for home decor trends? At Balta Rugs, we're seeking interns to join us in-studio for a hands-on experience working with product design and trend.

Your Mission:

As a Textile design intern, you will immerse yourself in the design process, from initial product research to the final touches on finished collections. Working alongside our experienced Design Team, you'll have the chance to see how designs come to life in stores and online worldwide.

Your Impact:

• Help develop production-ready CADs for our company collection and our customer projects
• Try your hand at recoloring, design, clean up patterns, and perform basic revisions to bring each design to its full potential
• Collaborate closely with the Product Design Manager to curate customer projects and deliver standout presentations
• Participate in design and trend research, making impact on long-term direction of Balta Rug development strategy

Your Skills and Experience:

• Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's degree in Textile Design or a related field
• Keen interest in Home Textiles and Décor
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud
• Experience with Nedgraphics Texcelle is a plus
• An impressive portfolio demonstrating your abilities and creativity
